NEW CUSTOMERS

When it comes to your retail business new customers are vital. Here at Omni Digital, it is the first pillar we help all new clients focus on. Why? Because people who have never heard of you or bought from you have the potential to be your next best customer or next best referral outlet.

How do we at Omni Digital help you attract and get brand new customers? Well, it starts with helping you develop an offer or go with an existing offer you are using through other advertising sources or with your digital advertising.

  • 1. Develop an offer that entices someone to transact with you - That is the goal.

Your “lead magnet” or that one thing that gets someone to do business with you. Once you do this, you have given yourself a chance. Plus, if you know your LTV or lifetime value of your average client, it gives you even more hope. Let’s say your average LTV of a customer is $300 in PROFIT. Would you give $20 off a purchase or buy an item get one FREE or something of that nature? Sure you would. But, you may be reluctant if you don’t know your LTV. That is the basis of this step.

Now, let’s transition to the second step in getting new customers in your business.

  • 2. You must advertise this offer to ONLY new customers. Now, you may ask yourself, how do you achieve this? First, you have to let your mind expand from original thinking. If you send out an advertisement in the paper, on the radio, via TV, or anything like this, it is impossible. Or if it is, it would be very difficult and expensive to do. We have methods within Facebook to help you essentially exclude your “existing” customers and people who “know” of your business and make sure we DO NOT target these people. That way, that offer ONLY reaches new people!

Finally, we hit on one of the most important parts of this. How did it on pan out? What was my ROI?

  • 3. Within Facebook, you have the ability to track your ROAS or Return On Ad Spend. This is very important because it tells you if you put $1 in how many dollars do you get back. We will hit on this more in a future article on how this works. But, you must know HOW well this offer is doing in helping you attract new business to your company.

So here it is in a simple formula:

ALL PEOPLE - EXISTING CUSTOMERS = NEW CUSTOMERS

  1. Offer (What you give them)

  2. Targeting (Who you show it to)

  3. Measure (Allows you to pivot)
