5 Strategies to grow your retail business

Omni Digital Group, specializes in working with physical product companies such as retailers on their digital advertising. Currently, we work with over 50 companies. We want to highlight some of the strategies we use to get them results. One of the companies we work within 12 months of working with us went from doing $500,000 in sales to over $825,000. We really focus on BUSINESS results, not just social metrics. We are simple in our approach, yet effective. I explain it this way. Our job as a marketing firm is to take their potential customers from cold to warm to hot to super hot which I will explain below. Let's dive in!

  1. The volume of content - Most of the companies prior to working with Omni Digital, just were not posting frequently enough. My recommendation is to post 1-2 times per day. We post roughly 45 times a month for our clients on Facebook and Instagram.

  2. The volume of Ads - If you are a retailer with over say 100 products, how does it make sense to run only 2 ads? Why not run 40 showing 40% of your products vs 2%? Again, it just makes sense. We create 30-40 ads typically for our customers monthly.

  3. Retargeting - If someone goes to your website, don't you think it would be a solid idea to show them an ad on Facebook or Instagram? We can track this experience and display ads in front of that individual and create more sales. This person went from maybe never knowing you to doing a Google search. Now, follow up with them digitally. Facebook knows they visited your website, your salesperson, does not.

  4. Customer Retargeting - Here is a million-dollar question (literally, it could be worth a million dollars or more to your company). How do you follow up with customers? You have a 5,000 person customer list. How do you follow up with them? Do you call them? Email them? Send them a direct mail piece? We help our customers get back in front of their EXISTING customers increasing the LTV 2x typically on average. This is a HOT customer. Someone who has already bought from you and just need to be nudged to come back in.

  5. Brand Targeting - If someone bought product X and they need it every say 12 months, what are the odds they will come to you again? Well, one of the strategies we help customers implement is BRAND RETARGETING. Showing ads of the very product your customer bought in the past from you. Cool huh? The best part, it works!
